Non-medical and Wheelchair Services

As an added benefit to our facilities and community Century Ambulance Service, Inc. offers both non-medical stretcher and wheelchair transports. These specialized units are designed to secure wheelchairs and/or stretchers and safely and comfortably to transport patients to destinations not covered by insurance plans at an affordable price. Even though these transports do not require medically trained staff, each of our units is manned by crews that have each been trained in CPR at a provider level and their certification is kept up to date with the most current methods and techniques. Each of our drivers have also completed the Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) to ensure the safety and comfort of our patients. These transports consist of but are not limited to facility to facility transport, home to facility transport, facility to home transport, home to store or other destination transports. Our non-medical transports are unmatched in their professionalism and abilities because not only does Century give them tools to provide the best service but our crews are chosen due to their abilities and their genuine care and concern for the patients.
